I would like to thank the club, committee, and exhibitors for a wonderful day and the opportunity to judge some excellent Staffordshire Bull Terriers. I would like to give a special thank you to my two lovely stewards for their assistance in making the ring run smoothly and keeping me in check. The quality of dogs was very good with some close decisions mainly coming down to condition. Some exhibits appeared fit but when gone over lacked the muscular definition and fitness the breed should have.

SPECIAL AWARDS CLASSES
Judge: Mr Damian Freeman
Firstly, I would like to thank the Society for my invitation to judge the SAC’s also a massive thank you to my 2 stewards on the day for keeping the ring moving smoothly whilst also keeping myself hydrated due to the extreme heat on the day.
Puppy Dog or Bitch: 3, 1abs.
1st. Rogers & Daly-Lees "Berrystock Best Kept Secret". BB Bitch of good size, with nice shaped head which includes a decent length of muzzle, decent nares and correct scissor bite. Good front angulation with good width and depth. Held topline on the move as well as stood. Good bend of stifle with good amount of muscle to rear end. Moved well.
2nd. Nolan "Kentstars Narcissa". Red & White pied Bitch With good head shape which comes with good length of muzzle, correct scissor bite and ok nares. She has a solid frame with straight and strong front, held topline on the move as well as stood. Moved ok. Preferred movement of 1st.
Post Graduate Dog or Bitch: 10, 2abs.
1st. Yates "Zakdan Devious Devil". BB Dog of correct size with a good head shape which housed a correct scissor bite, good length of muzzle nice dark eyes and open nares. Powerful from front to rear. At the front he has good width along with good depth leading to a strong rear end which powered his movement back and forth across the ring with ease holding his topline.
2nd. Rowland "Bilrosestaff Shes The One". Brindle Bitch: I have judged this Girl previously and I am still in love with her today as I was then. Her head shape for me is one of the best I have seen in person, an expression that could kill with more than enough muzzle length and a correct scissor bite and open nares. Nice straight front with good width and depth, nice topline which was held on the move. She moved ok, I would like to see more muscle on the rear end as I think this would help with more powerful movement.
3rd. Rowe & South "Illori Constellation" JW.
Res. O'Sullivan "Junostaff Splish Splash".
VHC. Levy "Fairlenium Pixie Queen At Sharbelle".
Open Dog or Bitch: 5, 2abs.

Lovely head piece with dark eyes which holds a wicked expression he has a decent length muzzle, open nares and correct Scissor bite. Nice strong neck leading to solid shoulders, good depth and width to ribs, nicely tucked up leading to a powerful rear end which aids in his strong and powerful movement around the ring whilst holding his topline.
2nd. Knight "Kalostaffs Dark Knight". Another top size dog but everything fits where it should. Decent head shape with correct scissor bite, open nares and good length muzzle. Lighter in the eye than 1st. Correct front with good depth and strength, nicely tucked up leading to strong rear end. Moved ok. Preferred the powerful movement of 1.
3rd. Turner "On The Hill At Tidestaff".
