2nd. Gardner "LABRASTAFF CURIOUS GEORGE". Black brindle with white fleck to chest, stronger dog all round than the class winner and looking very well for his age. He is still displaying a good head shape, dark round eyes, ears a tad flighty, good muzzle length with reasonably tight lips and ample under jaw housing correct dentition. He has ample width to his front, tidy tight feet with short nails. His body is nicely balanced with a good spring of rib, level topline and well angulated rear quarters. Moved well and presented in good overall condition especially for a 10 year old.

3rd. Mitchell "OUR LITTLE CRACKER".

1st. Ogon "PRIMISTAFF SMOOTH CRIMINAL". (See above)

2nd. Johnson "EXODUSBULLS BOSS ADONIS" Blue with white fleck on chest, 7 months old, blockier head than 1st, with a good length and width to muzzle, which could be cleaner. I couldn’t really assess this boy. He wouldn't stand still, couldn't really go over him and he didn't walk with enough pace to be assessed on the move. This was his and his lady handlers first show I believe. He was entered in a few classes and seemed to be standing a lot better as the show went on. Keep on practising.

Class 3 Puppy Dog 1

1st. Moldovan "AYLEDASTAFF DOUBLETAP". Brindle with white blaze to chest and white feet,10 months old, head maturing as it should be, dark round eyes, neat rose ears and a muzzle of decent length and width, would prefer him a tad cleaner in the lip. His body is short and compact with ample rib, clean enough front with good bone and tight well padded feet, moved ok. Had the better front of the two pups when challenging for BPD.

Class 4 Junior Dog 3

1st. Clark "ROWELSTAFF EASY TIGER". Beautiful brindle colour, lovely expression on this chap, nicely proportioned head and muzzle of strength and clean through with no exaggerations. Reasonably tight in the lip with ample underjaw and excellent dentition, well set dark round eyes. Straight front of good width and tidy well padded feet that turn out slightly. Correct depth and length of brisket with a visible amount of spring to his rib and taper at the loin when viewed from above. He has adequate strength to his rear quarters, with a good turn of stifle / angulation which helped him move economically up and down the mat .One of the better conditioned exhibits on the day. He does have a tendency at times to lean to the right, which spoils his front and outline from above. Something the handler needs to keep an eye on.

2nd. Durrell "HAMASON GREATEST SHOWMAN". Red / white, not long out of puppy, stronger dog all round than the class winner, he has strength to skull and muzzle with plenty of under jaw housing correct dentition, dark round eyes, neat well placed rose ears. Strong boned front of good width standing on tight well padded feet. His body proportions are balanced fairly well, with a decent amount of rib which has the correct depth and length. His rear quarters are strong with adequate angulation. Moved steadily, I would like to see a bit of spark / animation from this lad in general and on the move. Not the condition of 1st but something that can be worked on going forward.

3rd. Stevens "RONJAC ROB ROY MCGREGOR".

Class 5 Yearling Dog 4

1st. Yates "ZAKDAN DEVIOUS DEVIL JW" Black brindle - a lot to like about this standard lad, clean unexaggerated head with the correct skull to muzzle ratio and depth / angle of stop Piercing dark black round eyes, neat well set rose ears setting off his excellent expression. His front is straight and clean through the shoulder, with adequate width / bone and tight feet which are turned out slightly. Balanced in body when viewed side on with correct front and rear angulation. Viewed from above he has a decent amount of rib and tapers nicely in at the loin. Moved well with efficient drive from the rear. Overall a very nice dog, put down in fairly good condition but needs to be harder to the touch with a shade more muscle tone/definition to complete the picture for me.

2nd. Gardner "LABRASTAFF ESPRESSO" Black brindle with white fleck to chest, stronger boy all over than the class winner. Strong deep through head, dark round eyes, tidy well set ear carriage, adequate muzzle length housing correct dentition. His front is fairly clean with enough width, body wise he has similar attributes to the class winner, just more of him all round, moved ok. Preferred the overall balance & cleaner head and expression of the class winner.

Class 6 Novice Dog 2

1st. Butler "BRINSTAR RADIO GA GA". Top size black brindle with white fleck on chest, quite liked the expression on this lad. Neat rose ears, dark round eyes with a strong head and skull with visible cheek muscles, short muzzle, personally I would like to see a tad more length to his muzzle. His front is ok for width, brisket to elbow with a nice length to rib cage, short coupled with adequate turn of stifle and strength to his rear quarters. Moved ok.

2nd. Johnson "EXODUSBULLS BOSS ADONIS" (See MPD) 

Class 7 Post-Graduate Dog 3

1st. Hammond "HAMMYSTAFF RED REVENGE". Red with black mask and white blaze on chest, well you certainly couldn't accuse this lad of not being animated and on his toes and up for the challenge, a dog full of exuberance and spirit, just enjoyed watching him and his handler battle it out. Strength in head without exaggeration, dark eye, neat thin rose ears and a good length of muzzle, housing correct dentition. Not easy to see his true expression due his constant excitement and never keeping his mouth shut longer than a few seconds. He is a balanced dog throughout with a straight clean front of ample width and depth. He is well off for rib, short coupled with a well muscled powerful rear end with good angulation, which literally powers him up and down the mat and whichever way he decides to go. Managed to see his movement periodically which is sound. He is well muscled throughout and hard to touch but personally I would like to see a tad less covering on him to give him a shade more definition.

2nd. Tomkins "PASGAL REACH OUT AND TOUCH". Black brindle - quite a stylish looking chap, lovely expression with piercing dark round eyes, tidy well set ears with a clean unexaggerated head with visible cheek muscles, and a muzzle of adequate length housing correct dentition. His front is fairly clean with enough bone but would benefit from a tad more width to balance him out. Body proportions are good and fairly well balanced with enough rib / depth of brisket. He does tend to over stretch his rear quarters at times when stacked, which does spoil his overall profile. Presented in fairly good condition, I would like to see a shade more muscle tone on him which will only enhance his overall appearance. Moved ok.

3rd. Knight "KALOSTAFFS DARK KNIGHT".

Class 8 Limit Dog 4 (1)

1st. Jefferson "ALPORT BOLD RULER". Black brindle - strong headed lad with a broad skull and pronounced cheek muscles, short muzzle and reasonably tight in the lips, housing correct dentition. Small neat well placed rose ears, round medium sized eyes that I would have preferred a shade darker. His front is clean and straight of good width and neat well padded tight feet that turn out slightly. In profile he balances out quite well but tends to lean back on his front at times which spoils his outline. He has a good spring of rib and is reasonably light in the loin, with adequately muscled rear quarters that are well angulated. Moved economically holding his outline. His condition was ok but would like to see him hardened up.

2nd. Mitchell "CHEDENSTAFF DEVIL STAR". Black brindle - upstanding lad, with more athleticism than the class winner. He has a pleasing head shape of good proportions with neat well placed rose ears, dark medium sized round eyes and correct dentition. His front is clean and straight with ample bone standing on neat feet. Brisket of good depth and length with a good underline and rise at the loin. Well enough off for rib and visible taper at the loin. Moved ok with drive on his well muscled rear quarters. Presented in a good all round condition. Preferred the cleaner muzzle and overall balance in profile of the class winner. This boy was the better conditioned of the two.

1st. Day & Thomas "GOLDWYN FIRST EDITION TO JAYALIX". (See above)

2nd. Boggins & Burton "LUTHAIS LOCH TAY JW".  

Black brindle, standard boy with a strong well proportioned head, neat well placed ears, dark round eye. Slightly shorter in the muzzle than first placed housing correct dentition. His front is true and wide with ample bone, compact in body which is well off for rib, visible waistline with well muscled / angulated rear quarters which powered him up and down the mat. A very well balanced dog all round. His movement is free and economical, a sound mover who holds his outline well.. A smaller, more compact dog compared to the class winner who was presented in good all round condition. Preferred the animation and athleticism of 1st on the day but had me deliberating. The more polished mover of the two and on show here today.

1st. Walker "TORKAVI THE LAST DRAGON AT TESHLEYSTAF". 

Black brindle, with an appealing expression. As you would expect a very immature young lady all round at 6 months of age. Her head and muzzle are clean and defined displaying correct proportions. Neat ears, dark eyes and correct dentition. Body wise she is compact and very well balanced with a straight front of adequate width. I was surprised how confident she was when stepping on the mat. She strolled up and down without a care in the world, moving well. Will be interesting to see how she develops.

2nd. Fryatt "PRIMISTAFF LIBERIAN GIRL" Black brindle - I was torn between these two, further down the maturity line at 2 months older than 1st. Nicely balanced head with a good skull to muzzle ratio, ears ok, dark eyes, clean lipped with a decent underjaw and correct dentition. Clean straight front with good width and tidy feet. Body wise she is also compact and short coupled with good rear angulation. Moved fairly well, preferred the more defined head / appealing expression and tighter coat of 1st.

3rd. Nolan "KENTSTARS NARCISSA".

2nd. Harvey "CWMHAF BRING ME SUNSHINE".  Black brindle - with an appealing expression. Stronger headed girl than the class winner but retaining her femininity. Dark eyes, rose ears, open nares with a shorter muzzle that is reasonably tight in the lips, housing a correct bite. Nice width to her front standing on medium sized tidy well padded feet. Looks good in profile with a level topline and a decent under line. She has a slightly better turn of stifle than 1st but 1st stands stronger on her front pasterns. Moved fairly well and was the better conditioned of the two. Preferred the head and Expression of 1st place and thought she was slightly more balanced in profile.

1st. O'Sullivan "JUNOSTAFF SPLISH SPLASH". Red and white pied, flashy top size girl with a lot to like, very appealing head and expression which grew on me the more I looked at her, once she got those ears up. Strong head and skull but retaining her femininity and without exaggeration, neat ears, dark eyes, reasonably tight in the lips housing a good bite. Straight front with ample width, feet could be better ( need to get nails shorter ) , decent spring of rib and light in the loin, brisket is correct to elbow and of good length, nice underline and rise at the loin. She does tend to over stretch her rear at times but can stand correct no problem. Presented in good all round condition and moved well.

2nd. Rowe & South "ILLORI CONSTELLATION JW". Black brindle who i have judged before when in minor puppy. Smaller all round than class winner and more compact in body. Dark round eyes with neat rose ears, with a different style head to 1st, which is clean throughout, with a slightly shorter muzzle with ample underjaw and housing correct dentition. Her front is true and of good width with tidy well padded feet. In profile she is very well balanced with a good depth of brisket and length of rib, short coupled and light in the loin with a good turn of stifle and adequately muscled rear quarters. Presented in good condition but could be better, moved well and had the better topline of the two stacked and on the move. Preferred the overall style and expression of 1st on the day.

Class 15 Novice Bitch 6 (1)

1st. Asker "DAZMARNIC DAISY DUKE". Predominately white with a red patch over her right eye. The happiest dog here today her tail never stopped wagging and it literally never stopped at any point. A good honest Stafford, strong head and skull which is super clean throughout without any exaggeration and with a muzzle to match of good length and tight lips. Very well balanced in body, good wide straight front, stood four square with adequate rear quarters. Moved very well, one of the better movers here today and moved parallel when viewed from the front and rear. Would like to see her a lot fitter / harder.

2nd. Levy "FAIRLENIUM PIXIE QUEEN AT SHARBELLE". Black brindle and white pied, smaller all round than 1st and more compact. Clean head and foreface, short muzzle, dark eyes, ears a tad untidy. She has adequate width to her front and depth of brisket. Level topline, light in the loin and a decent turn of stifle. Her conditioning was better than 1st. Moved ok

Class 16 Post Graduate Bitch 5

1st. Hammond "HAMMYSTAFF LOVE BOMB". Red and white pied, a strong powerful lady this one. Her head is strong but clean throughout, short muzzle of adequate length and in balance with her skull. Neat rose ears, piercing dark black eyes, open nares, reasonably tight lips with ample underjaw and correct dentition. Straight wide front with plenty of bone, body wise very well balanced all round, level topline, good length of rib with a visible rise at the loin and powerful rear quarters that are well muscled with good angulation. Moved economically with minimal effort. Although a bit too much all round for me she is sound, constructed right and was presented in good condition all round with muscle tone you can feel, lacking in many here today. Will appeal to many.

2nd. Mitchell "VIMAVAL RED ANGEL". Red with white blaze to chest, like apples and oranges these two. Lighter framed girl, front ok for width, clean and straight off the shoulder. She has a pleasing feminine head of good proportions, ear carriage ok, dark eyes, clean in muzzle and tight lipped with correct dentition. In body she balances out very well with a level topline and good underline, with an adequate length of rib and nice rise at the loin. Her rear quarters show good angulation and turn of stifle, she moved reasonably well and was presented in good all round condition. She leans more towards my preferred type but would just like just a shade more of her. On the day 1st edged it with her overall balance and stood firmer on her front.

3rd. McFadyen "NIATONA CALL ME KAREN".

1st. Asker "DAZMARNIC BECAUSE I CAN". Red with dark mask and white fleck to chest - strong head and muzzle but retaining her femininity. Dark eyes well placed, adequate length of muzzle with good dentition. She has quite a loving expression the way she looks at you and doesn’t take her eyes off you. She has a wide front, good depth of brisket, well off for rib, level topline, decent rear angulation and turn of stifle. Her movement was very erratic, she kept pulling to either side. She needs to be presented in a fitter / harder condition.

Class 18 Open Bitch 2(1) 

1st. Gardner "BALLINDONA FA'U'LUSS FOR LABRASTAF". Black brindle - pleasing typical feminine head shape on this lady, clean throughout with tidy well placed ears, lovely dark round medium sized eyes, good length of muzzle that is just starting to go grey. Adequate underjaw, clean lipped with correct dentition. Her front is clean off the shoulder, straight of adequate width for her frame. Body wise she is a fairly well balanced / compact girl with a good length of rib, rear quarters are well bent and displaying good angulation. A tad more muscle tone wouldn't go amiss. Moved fairly well and steadily.
